The bow is firm and in very nice condition. The original crown spins freely (does pop up for a pendant set movement). Beveled edged glass crystal nice shape. Fine threads on bezel and back lid – so takes a second to line them up properly. They snug down as they should. Very pretty ornate case sure to dress up your favorite movement. The beautiful original lever set movement has 21 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. It is lever set and has a special invar balance. It has beautiful gold screw settings, gold center wheel and gold balance weights, and is in great condition! The original dial is in very good condition and just has some fine hairlines. Fine and rare, 14CT Gold Waltham Hunter Cased Pocket Watch, complete with the original presentation case/box. This watch is an excellent example, in superb condition and very good working order. The fancy, decoratively engraved, heavy, 14 carat solid gold hunter case is in excellent condition. It is stamped with the case maker’s name Dubois W. Co” for the Dubois Watch Case Company and also stamped “14K U. Assay for 14 carat solid gold. The Dubois Watch Case company, a maker of high grade watch cases was established in 1887. It specialised in the manufacture of expensive, highly ornate watch cases. The white enamel dial is in excellent condition, it has the hours in Arabic numerals and a sub seconds dial at six o’clock. It is signed by the maker “Waltham”. The good quality, high grade, 15 Jewels, Waltham movement is in excellent working order. It is signed by the maker “AWWCo, Waltham Mass” and has a lovely damaskeened finish. It has a micro-metric regulator. All signs of a very good watch.
