An 18th Century Pair Cased Pocket Watch. Movement inscribed with name of very highly regarded watch and clock makers Chater and Sons, London. Gilded base metal inner and outer cases. Enamel dial with Roman numerals. Dial measures approx 38mm in diameter. Inner case measures approx 42mm in diameter. Outer case measures approx 50mm in diameter. Inner and outer case in good sound condition with no major damage. Gilding is worn off extensively. Dial and hands in good condition. Just a few minor scratches to the dial. Crystal in good condition for its age, just a few superficial scratches. The outer case doesn’t snap shut that easily. Your co-operation is appreciated.
