Antique Hollison Liverpool Verge Fusee Pair Case Pocket Watch. Paper inside watch says, Caleb Kendall Watchmaker Windsor Vermont. I was able to wind the watch and it ran a little. This antique pocket watch is about 113 years old, and it is in excellent condition. The watch runs fine and keeps accurate time. The lid pops up nicely when the crown is pushed. The case shows very little wear. The porcelain dial is in perfect condition, no small cracks or chips. It is marked ELGIN. The movement is marked ELGIN NATL. SAFETY PINION 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED 11630630. The movement looks clean and it is very ornately engraved. Notice the three finger bridge. The diameter of the case is 2 excluding the crown. It is in good working order, movement keeps great time. Movement is 17 jewel bumper auto wind with wind indicator dial at 12 o’clock. Movement caliber number is 481. All of the fu nctions of the watch work well. Dial is black color. It has been professionally restored. Power indicator dial will show in red color as watch winds down. Case is very unusual beautiful with heavy round lugs. It measures 32.2mm d iameter. As you can see from the photos this this watch in excellent shape. We have never had one for sale.
