The movement has 17 jewels, adjusted to 3 positions, a stem set, adjusted to temperature, and it has a high grade regulator. This movement is all original. This movement has all the original gold screws! Dial : The original Hamilton 4 foot dial is in very good condition. Case is in amazing condition. This is a very beautiful case. The case has great hinges. The crystal is glass. The case shows very little pocket wear. This watch looks like it was used very little. This watch is ready to carry or display. Because the swiss works are built so well, a piece like this is able to exist for many decades in different incarnations and keep it’s usefulness. The watch runs very well and keeps excellent time. When it winds down and stops you simply wind it several times and gently shake a couple of seconds and it will start the sweeping second hand prominently displayed on the face. To set the time press the small button and hold it down while turning the larger winding knob clockwise to desired time. DO NOT OVER WIND! It is one of the worst things you can do to a vintage time piece. Also not water resistant. Must not be worn in shower or when swimming! The face appears to be original. It does have a few hairline cracks but is otherwise complete and decent. A very fine swiss mechanical watch from a legendary maker. The watch has just been cleaned and serviced and the movement is in perfect working condition. It runs and keeps excellent time. It is a large and heavy under – painted and silver case pocket watch with an original and 100% genuine unrestored under painted mint scene on the front cover of the case. The watch is 50 mm wide, and weighs 93 gr’. Case: The unique, rare, and interesting silver case has under painted pictures from both sides, back and front. The back is a plain grey/green colour under painted cover, and the front side has the most beautiful under painted scene of a man and a woman with a dog in the country side. Both sides are in 100% mint condition. The inner silver cover that protects the movement has a nice engraved pattern, and is signed: Mi Chronometre, 22 Rubis. The case is numbered 16274. Movement: A very rare ornamented movement. Beautiful top brass plate – never seen such high quality engraving on a movement before. 22 rubies, and a very good lever escapement. The plate under the balance wheel is also engraved with high quality work. Balance wheel with compensation screws. In total: a very high quality movement. Dial: The dial is also unique as all the rest of this pocket watch parts. The centre of the dial is made from glass and it has a picture highly detailed and beautifully made that is under-painted. The picture is in good condition except for a few scratches. Roman numerals in mint condition, and black ornamented hands. This is a very rare and spectacular pocket watch that is very hard to find.
