We reject the idea that vintage has to mean, rusty, scratched, dirty or untested. 1915 WWI MILITARY 15J IMPERIAL TRENCH WATCH BY BUREN ORE SILVER CASE – RUNS. Grade: 7.5/10 – Very nice 105 year-old piece that runs but needs service. Case: 31mm (35mm w/crown), Ore Silver “Fahys”. Dial: Original Silvered dial with heavy patina lume numerals; w/Arabic hour markers. Crystal: NOS Acrylic high-dome. Movement: Buren 15 Jewel, 3 ADJ, Non-Magnetic. Band: 16mm NATO strap. Signed: Signed “Imperial” on dial and movement. This Watch has not been serviced. Winds smoothly, and sets with some resistance, seems to run about 12-18 hours but not timed for accuracy. Assume complete service needed if you plan to use for regular wear. Original Fahy’s Size 0 Ore Silver case and crown is very clean with only minor wear marks to rear and no major dings or dents. Original 12 hour military style numeral dial has strong patina and a one visible scratch as shown in enlarged photos – lettering is crisp and clear. Lume is present but no longer glows. Lume still present on hour hand. Very nice original hands. New acrylic crystal in place. New NATO strap mates beautifully with the well-styled case.
