Waltham Silver Case Antique American Open Face Pocket Watch. 1903 (to fix or parts). Please note that our items are vintage or antique and they might show some signs of wear and usage. The dial is white porcelain with black hour and minute Roman numbers around, black minute hands as well as the. Second hand at the 6 o’clock position. The dial is marked A. The open case is. The back lid is adorned with engraved capital letter R in beautiful calligraphy. Please not: This is a manual wind up watch not a battery run. The watch has the following marks on the mechanism 12747018 (movement serial number) AMERICAN WALTHAM, U. The serial number indicates that the model is 1897, estimated production date 1903. The coin silver case is produced by American Watch Case Company. This is the mark of American Watch Case Company. The antique Waltham pocket watch is as seen in the photos. The watch measures approx. 1.9 across in diameter. We didn’t polish silver leaving it to the next owner to decide whether polishing is required. Vintage Antique American Waltham 1893 Gold Fill Hunting Case Pocket Watch C3980. Here is an American Waltham gold filled O size pendant watch serial #5573388, made in 1893. The movement is a gold guilt 7 jewel model that looks really cool. The watch is 34.8 millimeters or about 1 5 /8 inches across the front of the watchcase. There is an art nouveau dove engraving on the back of the watchcase. The mechanical (winding type) watch winds, is fully wound, tries to run and stops so it does not run. It does continue to run when I put winding pressure on the winding stem telling me it can be fixed. I see moderate wear from use on the case and it does look pretty cool.. We sell these items as they are and as you see them with some dirt, minor marks or minor damage from use (as is). Please look over the pics. This is an American Waltham pocket watch from the 1883 model, featuring a yellow gold filled full hunter case in size 18. It has a fancy white, pink blue dial with a seconds hand and a 12-hour dial. The watch has a mechanical (manual) movement with 7 jewels. The caseback is a snap closure, and it is a vintage luxury piece with a Waltham brand signature. Watch is currently running untested for accuracy and with no service records. Assume it will need service. The outer gold filled carved case features amazing craftsmanship as shown in pics. Top crown area has some gold wear as expected from normal use. Inner case covers have not been polished all kept as original.
