This is a Nice 18SZ Waltham Pocket Watch in a Silverine, Display Case Glass on Both sides. Its a 15 jewel movement, 18SZ Runs good. It was just serviced. The #s on the movement are, 10308822, made in 1902. This is a big watch, it measures from side to side 54.33 mm. The dial is a 24hr dial, clean with a few light hairlines, you can see in the pictures. Winds and sets smooth. The case looks good, has a few small dents and dings , which is normal for its age. The glass on front side is very nice, looks to be new. Its a Stem set and stem wind. 1893 Elgin National Watch Company, U. 18 size, seven jewels stem wind & set large antique pocket watch in excellent looking and running condition. The movement was professionally serviced recently, runs strong & keeps good time. The serial number on the grade 73 movement is 5366691 which dates it to 1893. The full plate seven jewel movement has a safety pinion and nice engraving on the balance arm. The single sunk porcelain enameled 24 hour dial with roman numerals is in very good condition with some light hairlines, and the deep blued steel hands are in fine condition. The crystal is a brand new G-S high dome acrylic model. The original Keystone Cyclone hinged cover model rolled gold filled case is in excellent condition for its age with light pocket wear, no dents. There are small, faded initials on the back which are not very noticeable looks like B. Please see the picture. The approximate case measurements are 2-1/4 inches in diameter (not including the bow & crown) x 3/4 inch thick including the crystal. The hinges work fine and the covers snap shut tight. The bow and winding crown are in very good condition with light wear. Included with your watch is a modern 12-3/4 inches long gold plated chain with nice large links. This is a nice original early timepiece that is well preserved. Great for everyday use, or would make a fine gift! Also great for Re-enactors. My pictures have many shadows, reflections and dust spots that will be cleaned; the watch looks fine in person! Please note that an antique watch may not be as accurate as a modern watch. Presented is an all original WWII (1942) vintage Hamilton Grade 4992B with its interesting 24 hour dial, sharp. 800 silver open face military case, and great running movement. It was serviced about a year ago and is running great. It is marked Hamilton Watch Co. USA 4992B 22 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions and bears the serial number 4C50881. The balance has great motion and the only thing I see is some minor oxydation on the winding wheels and regulator. The unique single sunk melamine 24 hour dial dial is in great condition with no issues that I can find. It features bold boxcar numbers with an inner 24 hour track and is signed “Hamilton” in block. Please note the red sweep second hand and small blued second hand are in sync. 800 silver case is in great shape as well, with no dents or dings, once again, no issues. Finally, I’d just like to add that it has an excellent, possibly original glass crystal. Neat 1 of a kind Hamilton 4992B. Grade 992B, 21 jewels, size 16. Stem wound, lever set. Adjusted to temperature and 6 positions. In a 10k gold filled case. Runs and seems to keep good time. Dial has an edge chip near 8 o’clock. Crystal is excellent, but may be loose. Case has a few light dings, but no brassing. Covers are a little tricky to screw down, but they work.
