VINTAGE CIRCA 1936 – 1954. MADE IN LANCASTER, PA USA, 21 JEWEL, GRADE 921, MODEL 1, SIZE 10/0s, MECHANICAL WIND-UP, MEN’S CORPORATE SERVICE AWARD POCKET WATCH IN A MATCHING HAMILTON BY WADSWORTH WATCH CASE CO. 14K YELLOW GOLD FILLED CASE, THAT MEASURES 1-3/4″ IN DIAMETER AND IS ABOUT 1/4″ THICK, MOVEMENT SERIAL NUMBER # H18400, CASE SERIAL NUMBER # H361920 IT IS FULLY ENGRAVED ON THE BACK, IN TRUE, 100% SURVIVOR CONDITION, HAS BEEN TESTED FOR OVER 7 DAYS OF FAIRLY ACCURATE AND STRONG WORKING CONDITION. Has been tested for over 7 days of fairly accurate and strong working condition. It is not overwound, balance does move freely, hands adjust works as it should, and the second hand moves along when running. Exterior of the case shows light wear, including typical minor marks, scratches, scratches at the opening points, scratches over the crystal, and it is fully engraved on the back. It is very clean, has very nice shine, has no signs of plating loss or brassing, dial shows light soiling and patina, and movement shows little tarnish. An overall very nice example. Engraving on the back is fully marked as a 25 year service award to an employee of Harrison Radiator Division, which was a part of General Motors automobiles at the time. It is marked on the inside of the case cover HAMILTON WATCH COMPANY LANCASTER, PA WADSWORTH 14K GOLD FILLED H361920 and marked on the dial HAMILTON. Movement is marked HAMILTON U. 5 POSITIONS 21 JEWELS 921 H18400, where based in online serial number databases, it should correctly date this watch between 1936 – 1954, as a grade 921, model 1, 10/0s size, and 21 jewels.
