1904 Elgin 7 Jewel Wadsworth Hunter Case Pocket Watch Grade 206 6S 7J Model 2

Pocket watch is an excellent condition. Does not appear to have been carried or used much by original owner. It is personalized with the owner’s name inside the case “Mrs N W Painter” and dated “1902″. Case looks to have been engraved with minimal wear to the exterior. Pocket watch has been described to the best of my ability and m in as much detail as my knowledge will allow. The only guarantee that I can give you is that the points that I’ve touched on here in the description are indeed accurate. Overall, the watch seems to be one of the best examples of an Elgin of this model that I have been able to find.

This case is for 16s, lever set, American movements only. There are a couple imperfections from use over the years so please use the photos to make a good decision. This is a hinged case and the hinges and the closures are strong. Case: Open Face, both covers are hinged. Outside D : 50 mm. Pre-1897 Wadsworth Rambler Gold Filled 18S Hunter Pocket Watch Case (only). Repair marks dated “22 Sept 1897″ are on the inside, which makes it one of the first Rambler cases made by that company. Serial number is #137542. Crown in very good shape, beveled crystal looks great and the case snaps shut well. This is a very nice full-hunter pocket watch case! I could be the showcase of your collection!
