16 size Vanguard 23 jewel railroad pocket watch by Waltham. Raised jewel setting, gold center wheel, solid gold timing screws. Model 1908, adjusted to 5 position. Micrometric regulator, double roller. Railroad approved, serial # 23177725. Case # 7239988 14k yellow gold filled in excellent condition. Cleaned, oiled, adjusted and regulated this watch will keep railroad required time. Dust cover is engraved from Mary to William Christmas 1904. Inside cover has trade mark for Fahys watch case company. Inside of dust cover has letters and numbers etched from when previous service’s were done. Also has “WARRANTED TO WEAR PERMANTELY” STAMPED. There are some scratches inside both covers. Watch chain is included. Watch is in working order. Original glass crystal has been replaced with plastic crystal. Up for sale is this nice 14k gold size 18 Waltham pocket watch with hunter case. The watch is working and in overall excellent condition. There is one small hairline on the face from the 27 minute mark to the edge of the second hand dial as seen in the photo. The watch is a model 1892 Vanguard with 21 jewels and is a lever set. The serial number is 11026353. The watch weighs approximately 127 grams. There is a small monogram in the center of the watch which appears to be “JS” but it’s hard to tell, please refer to the photo. The case is marked with “Keystone 14K 4642170″ on the back cover and the mechanism cover is marked “Warranted 14K US Assay 4642170″. The Spotless Double Sunk Dial is mint condition signed WALTHAM with Big Arabic Numerals and second hand at the 6 position. The hand looks good the minuet and second hands showing little scratches. Crystal looks clear with some pocket scratches. The Stellar Case with gorges Ornate engraving back cover, there are no dings, or dents, just faint pocket scratches, the bow and crown looks excellent and the bow is nice and firm.
