1800′s Antique Edward Prior London Silver Triple Case Enamel Verge Fusee Pocket Watch. Watch features a triple case; the two inner cases lock properly the outer case’clicks’ but does not fully lock. The outer case has some cracking to the enamel. The watch sets and winds but does not keep proper time (likely a main spring). The pocket watch is a full hunter cased watch with a sterling silver case which is in excellent condition for age. The watch has the sought after design. Watch is highly collectable and I will completed a full service next week. The watch is very rare the watch has a sought after blue chaptering, with three subsidiary dials. Far left as you look at the watch there is the date , centre is the seconds and far right is the days in full. The dial is signed John Barrel Locle. The case also benefits from a push button release. A very interesting and most important large triple case Doctors watch in mint condition under painted horn case watch. MADE BY JOHN WARD LONDON. In MINT condition with a great colour and nice shine you can even see the reflection of me. ALL the pins are in place.. UNDER PAINTED HORN WAS A TECHNIQUE USED ON VERY EXPENSIVE WATCHES , AND WAS SIMILAR TO GLASS MINIATURES AND THE WORK WAS EXECUTED BY THE SAME ARTISTS. The second case is in very good condition with a very nice watch makers paper to round it off. The inner case with the watch size is 48 m. All the hinges work well on the cases. The dial is in very good condition. Very very fine original black hands. The glass is very high clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs well. C + OR- 2- 3 minutes per hour. To stop the watch there is a slider by 10 move it up or down to stop and start. With a very very fine decorated and engraved balance cock, a silver Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate Jn WARD. The watch will come with a key. JOHN WARD IS WELL LISTED. Ralph Gout Triple Case Verge Fusee Pocket Watch. Gorgeous Ralph Gout verge fusee pocket watch. The watch is produced for the Ottoman Empire in 1781 by Ralph Gout according to hallmarks. The watch is in three cases, the outer case in silver covered with tortoiseshell, the two inner cases is in silver and have silver hallmarks from London year 1781. Watch with cases is approx 62mm in diameter. The watch is recently professionally overhauled, cleaned and serviced by a profesional watchmaker. The watch works as it should and keeps time as a verge fusee should do. Case: the outer case is in good condition. Tortoiseshell has a couple of chips places, natural enough since it’s almost 250 years. Middle case is in good condition with only normal usage wear and a few small dents. Inner box is also in good condition with only normal usage wear. Dial: in the incredibly nice condition age considered. No cracks that I can see. Marked George Prior London. Hands: in good condition.
