Antique Elgin, beautiful scalloped edge case pocket watch. Serial number 1690805 circa 1885. Watch is a 11-15 jewel and is in nice condition and runs good. A very attractive gilt movement. Great Roman numeral original mint to near mint Elgin dial. Dial is in nice condition. Case is a very attractive and very heavy keystone watch case company scalloped edge watch case. Case has fancy engraving on covers. Some minor loss of detail. Case does have some light wear and a couple small spots of brass. A very nice looking heavy high quality case. Case is in good working condition and is an impressive and nice 18s hunting case watch. Hunting cases are getting hard to find. Please see pictures for more information and condition. Pocket watch database production year estimate is 1908. Size: 1 7/8″ wide x 2 1/4″ with loop. Has been in a family pocket watch collection for about 70 years. Needs to be cleaned/serviced.
