We only sell 100% AUTHENTIC items. We are offering this amazing Verge Fusee Pair Case Pocket Watch circa 1730-50 which means it is 250+years old. It is a timepiece that if you are an ancient watch lover that you shouldnt pass up since it comes with all of the goodies: Running Verge Fusee movement with good chain, skeletonized balance cock cover and parts of the top plate, Tompian regulator, Roman/Greco pillars, and last but not least a beautiful outer tortoise shell. Even after two and half centuries the tortoise shell is in great condition with just a section that has gone cracked and missing as well as having some fracture lines. Generally speaking this is still a very presentable outer case in near complete condition. The center back section is near flawless with only damages to the edges. The outer case measures 47.5mm and has old watch papers lining inside. All of the bells and whistles of an antique pocket watch is there, poker & beetle hands, bulls eye crystal, and a complete verge fusee movement. The watch itself likewise is also in very presentable condition, it runs quite well that only a few rounds of winding it ticks quite nicely. The original enamel dial has chip to 25 min mark and hs some outer hairlines, but overall it is in near complete condition. The gold gilding on the cases is generally intact with exception to the pendant part of the outer case. The inner case gold gilding is nearly fully intact and shines beautifully. Even the bulls eye crystal appears to be original. Inner case is 39.5mm in diameter. This is a very nice vintage Hamilton railroad watch from a local estate. The movement is a 16 size model 992, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewels, gold center wheel. The movement is marked 992, and also ELINVAR on the pallet bridge. The movement runs strong and is in excellent condition. It has clean plates, full gold lettering, and the screw heads are clean and not damaged. I have not had this piece cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be a perfectly reliable timekeeper. The porcelain dial has bold black numbers, and is excellent. It has no hairlines and no chips. A truly great and desirable dial. Blued steel hands (hands show some wear). The case is 2-tone, with a yellow gold filled center, and silver metal bezel and case back. The case back is marked Wadsworth, and also with a Hamilton serial numbers (starts with H). The case is in excellent condition, with no dents or damage, and no engraving. Antique post civil war c/Aug. Bartlett eagle carved Frederic Marquand 18 size coin silver hunter case pocket watch. A very impressive old watch in great working order. The case is in nice shape. One pin head size ding on front and a couple of small ones and rub mark on back. The case shows a fine engine turned background throughout with a magnificently carved spread wing eagle on front. The inside of the front cover shows futher etched decoration and is marked warranted coin silver 6477 along with Frederic Marquand maker’s mark. The same mark and number are also on the back cover. The crystal is good with no chips or cracks and the dial is free of any hairlines. All covers snap closed. The watch winds and sets with a key that will come with it. Has a SIGNED 17 jewel Adjusted Breguet hairspring, Patent regulator movement and is running. Very nice quality with gold jewel settings and screwed chatons. Stem wound and stem set and is running. Serial # 22,071,862 dates this watch to 1918. The gold case has a ribbed coin edge rim and a great looking engine turn front and back lids. Free of any engraving. The hinges are all good. The sunken Waltham SIGNED dial is very clean. Has blued hands and a very clean glass crystal. Stem wound and stem set. Again this American Waltham watch is running. This watch weighs 49.8 pennyweight or 74.4 grams. I have no service records for this 99 year old Waltham watch. I sell all my watches as-is and as found.
