The sterling silver case is in very good overall condition, although it does have some minor indents to the rear. All covers opening and closing tightly as they should. It has English hallmarks for sterling silver. The maker’s mark “RWCLd” for the Rolex Watch Company Limited, the. 925″ sterling silver mark, the Glasgow town import mark and the date letter “b for 1924/25. Also stamped “Rolex, 7 World’s Records, Gold Medal, Geneva, Suisse”. He white enamel dial is in good condition. It has the hours in Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial at six o’clock. This is a beautiful and scarce Hamilton 940 SPECIAL 21 jewels lever set 18 size gold tone trim and fancy damaskeening. Featured in a very clean display case with good crystals and tight bow. The double sunk porcelain dial is in very good condition with some edge chipping along the 10 & 11 as shown in the photo. Antique and very rare 18K-gold pocket watch chain. Striking and very rare 18K-gold pocket watch chain in its original case. The chain was manufactured in the 19th century and remains in excellent condition. These pieces are quite rare, furthermore when they come in their original antique cases. The one that we can see in the images bears no hallmarks so it has been impossible to tell its origin. Nevertheless, it has already been acid-tested and we can guarantee that it is entirely made of 18K gold. This item shows a really beautiful design with an elegant, simple and contemporary look. It is composed of circular and oval links woven with a thick gold cord. The chain is almost 15.75 in / 40 cm in length, so it is a really long piece. At one end it has a cameo-case composed of two pieces connected in a book-like way. Both have oval frames and glass panes to put photographs inside. The chains storing case is rectangular in shape with a dark-red leather covering outside and maroon inner velvet lining. This striking and very rare 18K-gold pocket watch chain in its original case is a jewel more than one hundred years old, in fine condition and of an exceptional quality. Dimensions: Length: 40 cm. Very nice and seldom seen genuine US military issued pocket watch WWII that still has its original shock absorber outer case. These outer cases have all perished over the years. The rubber of this outer case has become hardened over time and I have therefore left it off of the watch. It would be easy to damage if not careful. The watch has a 17J Elgin movement that is very clean and running quite strong. The original dial is excellent and has the minute markers in red.
