Rare Military Issued & Signed Elgin 16s Pocket Watch With Original Rubber Case M

Very nice and seldom seen genuine US military issued pocket watch WWII that still has its original shock absorber outer case. These outer cases have all perished over the years. The rubber of this outer case has become hardened over time and I have therefore left it off of the watch. It would be easy to damage if not careful. The watch has a 17J Elgin movement that is very clean and running quite strong. The original dial is excellent and has the minute markers in red. Note the luminescence that is on the hour and minute hands. The case is military signed and composed of nickel. Get images that make Supersized seem small. Track Page Views With. Rolex GSTP British military issued WW2 pilots mens vintage watch screw case

Case size 50 mm without lugs and crown. Lug width: 24 mm. Case after carefully polishing. Inner cover stamped Dennison watch Co and Rolex watch co. Case back marked with the broad arrow above B 30124. Think this watch was issued to the Royal Artillery. Screwed back cover and besel – semi hermetic case. High grade Rolex movement 17 jewels, recently serviced and adjusted. Movement in great condition, sets and runs perfect, keep good time, has 40 hours power reserve. Please look video with perfect working movement via next link. Black porcelain dial in mint condition (no chips or cracks), Arabic numerals, gold color hands. New mineral glass – 44mm. Genuine leather watch strap black color – new. Please look all images and video. Thats really good watch in excellent condition. I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. This is antique watch circa 1930. Watch has not water resistance, watch dial is porcelain (ceramic) and can be broken in case of hard shock. Watch is mechanical and need to wind every day. Watch does not have any electronics parts or components. Glass is mineral, mineral glass more easy to brake then modern acrylic glass.
