1925 Hamilton 992, Model 2, Railroad Pocket Watch. 16 size, 21 Ruby & Sapphire Jewels in gold settings, Gold Center Wheel, sapphire pallet jewel. Adjusted to 5 positions plus temperature and isochronism. Engraved Royal B&B Case in great condition. Both bezels thread properly. Double Sunk Hamilton Dial is near mint, no hairlines, chips, or visible to me imperfections. Newer acrylic crystal properly installed and shows well. Matching plum hand set. This 992 winds freakishly well, feels smoother and truer than many modern mechanical movements! Winds, sets, and runs great, and is in beat. This is a 992 most people would want in their collection. Its coming out of mine. I had it oiled and cleaned in 2017. Please note, 90% of my watches are going to within +\- 2 minutes in 24 hours, which I consider good antique time. This is an excellent Hamilton 16 size 21 jewel, housed in a Salesman Case. The lever-set movement is signed. Dates it back to. Just got back from being serviced on May 18, 2020. Winds, Sets and running strong. The Montgomery dial is signed Hamilton. The dial is a double sunk Montgomery dial with Arabic numerals and 60 Second counter on the outer edge, it is in fair condition, there are some hairlines, one is at the 6 second marker and a really light hairline at the 58 marker please – see photos. Nice Clear crystal on both sides. The covers are pop-on and when opening it you would need to use a small pocket knife to open it gently or some prefer using your thumb nail. Offered here is a beautiful and substantial Waltham 18-size, key wound Man’s silver hunting case pocket watch, which dates back to 1885. It features a well built, 5 ounce Sterling silver case, housing a 13 jewel R. Robbins movement and is fronted by a beautiful white porcelain dial. It has been completely serviced withing the past year and had a new white alloy mainspring installed. It is running strongly and keeping excellent time. The watch will come with a winding/setting key supplied with the watch. I will also gladly consider any offers you may with to make. This piece starts with a quadruple hinged case which is stamped inside the front cover A. Sterling – 194044. The inner dust cover also bears the same serial number along with a “5″ denoting the weight of the case. The inner back cover continues to display the matching serial number and carries the original watch paper issued by Waltham guaranteeing its Sterling Silver content. The back of the watch paper has a hand written inscription that reads Feb 16 – 85 Maria and a last name that is ineligible. The front cover is ornately decorated with leaf and vine patterns along with an unsigned initial shield in the center. The back cover is similarly engraved. The front cover springs open to 90 degrees when released. The back cover opens to just past 90 degrees. The front and back cover hinges are tight with no play. The back cover hinge doesn’t have any noticeable play but has sustained just enough wear that it no long supports the heavy cover by itself. The covers all close tight and the the bow has remained tight. The case shows only light, even pocket wear and has aged gracefully. This is a bright, clean case, in very good overall condition with all of the engraving remaining strong and plainly visible. The white single sunk porcelain dial is marked with black roman hour chapters and minute marks. The dial looks to be perfect. No hairlines, scratches or edge chips. The blued steel hands look in nice condition and have mirrored edges. A hinged bezel houses the glass crystal and opens to allow the time to be set from the dial side. The crystal is scratch free. The 18sz, 13 jewel, Model 1883, gilt, full plate key wind and key set movement is in good condition showing only minor service marks. It is signed R. Robbins – Waltham, Mass. The serial number 2828228 dates this piece back to around 1885. The watch has been serviced within the past year. It winds and sets smooth and is running strongly and keeping excellent time. A key will be included with the watch. This is a very well preserved timepiece that is quality made, heavy and substantial when held in hand. The case does show your normal pocket light scratches and some pinhead dings around the edge of the back cover. This pocket watch Grade is 992 with 21 jewels of lever set movement, it has with red ruby & white sapphire jewels. This watch is a Double Roller with gold screw-set jewel settings, a 3/4 plate open face movement with nickel finish and 2nd Pattern (bar). The watch has a Breguet hairspring, a Reed regulator and adjusts to temperature and five positions. This watch has a double-sunk Montgomery dial, showing some hairlines and 2 small chips one above the 10 marker and one above the 5 marker. The Hands: The second hand register and fancy Arabic numerals and is marked “Hamilton”. Spade and Whip hour and minute Hands have a bold blue-black finish. Vintage Hamilton 910, Nice WGF Case. This Hamilton pocket watch is 12 size (case diamter 46 mm). The case is white gold filled with Art Deco style presentation engraving on the dust cover, plus owner’s initials on the back. No brass and only light wear. The Art Deco dial has some discoloration, mostly near the top, but still looks nice and has cool design work in the middle. The movement is a Grade 910 with 17 jewels and is adjusted. Movement condition is sparkling. Nice honest watch from about 1923. This watch runs and keeps reasonable time: within 5 minutes or LESS per day. Grade: 7.5/10 – Very nice 105 year-old piece that runs but needs service. Case: 31mm (35mm w/crown), Ore Silver “Fahys”. Dial: Original Silvered dial with heavy patina lume numerals; w/Arabic hour markers. Crystal: NOS Acrylic high-dome. Movement: Buren 15 Jewel, 3 ADJ, Non-Magnetic. Band: 16mm NATO strap. Signed: Signed “Imperial” on dial and movement. This Watch has not been serviced. Winds smoothly, and sets with some resistance, seems to run about 12-18 hours but not timed for accuracy. Assume complete service needed if you plan to use for regular wear. Original Fahy’s Size 0 Ore Silver case and crown is very clean with only minor wear marks to rear and no major dings or dents. Original 12 hour military style numeral dial has strong patina and a one visible scratch as shown in enlarged photos – lettering is crisp and clear. Lume is present but no longer glows.
