DIAL:The black relief dial is decorated with gold arabic numerals. CASE: New gold hand-decorated, designed specially for this movement. Total weight of the watch gald case is 32.5 gr. This is a very nice vintage Hamilton. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewel, grade 992B. Serial #C396577 dates it to 1953. The movement is very good and runs well. I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be completely reliable. The yellow gold filled case is plain, and has no brassing or monograms. It is high quality, and made by Keystone. A nice watch for a gift, or for the collector. Very nice and heavy 1870′s 5 ounce coin silver 18 size case for standard 18 size American made keywind keyset movement. Nice rose gold off-set case hinges. Case diameter 59 millimeters. It Has a beautiful clean sparkling movement, it is lever set, adjust to 6 positions, and yes Adjusts to Temperature. The Double Sunk a Porcelain Dial is signed Hamilton with big Arabic Black Numerals & Small Black 24 hour numerals, the dial is near mint condition showing one small pinhead chip on the outer edge at the 24 marker. Excellent Black Steel hands, the crystal is nice and clear with light pocket scratches, housed in a beautiful Hamilton BOC 10K Gold Filled Case. Both covers glide on-off nicely. 1925 Hamilton 992, Model 2, Railroad Pocket Watch. 16 size, 21 Ruby & Sapphire Jewels in gold settings, Gold Center Wheel, sapphire pallet jewel. Adjusted to 5 positions plus temperature and isochronism. Engraved Royal B&B Case in great condition. Both bezels thread properly. Double Sunk Hamilton Dial is near mint, no hairlines, chips, or visible to me imperfections. Newer acrylic crystal properly installed and shows well. Matching plum hand set. This 992 winds freakishly well, feels smoother and truer than many modern mechanical movements! Winds, sets, and runs great, and is in beat. This is a 992 most people would want in their collection. Its coming out of mine. I had it oiled and cleaned in 2017. Please note, 90% of my watches are going to within +\- 2 minutes in 24 hours, which I consider good antique time. However, I do not guarantee the accuracy of this antique timepiece. I would always recommend a professional service (or a modern watch) to anyone that demands that kind of accuracy.
