Pocket Watch Case

Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced railroad grade pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a genuine Hamilton Model #10 (by Wadsworth) 10k yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case, a 21-jewel grade 992B adjusted stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk porcelain dial with black numerals and baton hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and no visible brassing. The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. I serviced the movement and fitted a new glass crystal in January 2023. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces. Waltham Vanguard Model 1899 16 Size Exhibition Display Case Pocket Watch ca 1907. This antique Waltham Vanguard model 1899, 16 size, open face pocket watch has a base metal case measuring approximately 51mm in diameter x 2 3/4 inches long including bow. The “salesman” exhibition back display case is in overall good condiiton with minimal wear for it’s age. The white enamel montgomery dial has large black Arabic numerals, a red and black minute track, blue spade/whip hands, a double sunk seconds register at six and is marked “Waltham”. The dial has a hairline near 12 and three with chipping near the register, as pictured. The crystal is in great condition. The movement is stamped Vanguard – Waltham, Mass. 19 Jewels – Adjusted 5 Positions – 16145874. All screws and jewels appear to be in great condition. Stem wind, lever set. This watch is running. Chicago, Model 9, 19 Jewels, Adjusted Temp & Positions, Double Roller, beautiful damaskeened movement, Size 16, Lever Set/Pendant Wind Pocket Watch in a 25 Yr Gold-Filled Burlington Watch Case. 1915 per serial no. The Burlington double-sunk dial is in nice condition but has hairlines between the 7 & 8 (see photos). Crystal has no visible scratches or chips. Case is marked Burlington Watch Co. Guarantees this case to be made of 2 plates of solid gold over Composition & to wear for 25 Years. It has light design engraving & is in very good condition considering the age with a tiny pinhead dent & light scratches probably due to its age & normal wear. HAMILTON 924 POCKET WATCH!!! Circa: 1905 per serial number. The beautiful scroll fancy case is size 18. The case only shows light scratches and light wear. And the watch weighs 126.1 grams. Antique 1889 WALTHAM Model 1883 11J 18s Pocket Watch Grade 3 Elgin Case Working. This pocket watch was produced between October 1889 through March of 1890. Run quantity was 1500, serial number 4167727. Manufactured in Waltham, Massachusetts. Ran the watch for 24 hours and it seem to keep time, should probably still get it serviced if you’re going to use it. Please note that the minute hand is broken off at the end, and winding stem may need a little work, but will still set time and wind watch.
