We are auctioning this great Patek Philippe Ladies Hunting Case Pocket Watch Movement made for Tiffany & Co. There were many Patek Philippe’private label’ pocket watches that were signed Tiffany & Co. Only because the two companies had agreement for Tiffany to retail exclusively in the US market. This movement uses the patented Patek Philippe detent spring design and all of the features are high grade like other Patek Philippe watches. It also has wolf teeth winding wheels, counterpoised lever fork and solid gold balance screws. Condition-wise the movement DOES NOT RUN and the balance staff is good but gummy. We’ve noticed that the escape fork bridge does not have its pillar screws so that could be another reason the watch does not run. There is also no winding stem. Cosmetically the enamel dial is in fantastic shape with only slight edge flakes that takes the loupe to see. It is missing the hour and seconds hands. Description : This listing is for a lovely American Waltham pocket watch with finely engraved full hunter case crafted in 14k yellow gold. The 7 jewel movement, size 0s, is stem set and wound. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1894. The front of the case has an inscribed Daphne. Weight : 34.5 grams. Dimensions : The case measures approximately 34mm in diameter, and the dial measures approximately 26mm in diameter. Condition : This pocket watch is in very fine condition, with minor scuffs and scratches to the metal. There is a small dent on the front of the case. The crystal has a few small scratches along the edge, and the dial is near pristine. The watch runs but has not been timed for accuracy. Please see photos for details. We only sell 100% AUTHENTIC items. This watch has spectacular high relief ornamentation on the case and caseback and even a diamond on it. It is also one of the smallest pocket watches made by Longines Watch Co at just 21.5mm diameter without the crown/pendant. Case hallmark shows that this case was made in Switzerland, most definitely custom ordered for an important client. Condition-wise the watch is running well but we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy as we don’t know its service history. Cosmetically it is in such wonderful shape for its age and considering that all of the raised gold sculpturing has no damage or bent to them it’s just a great speciman. Antique Waltham Ladies Pocket Watch Hunter case 15j and Movement is approximately 1 1/8 inch in diameter and the case is 1 1/4 in diameter and it weighs total 30.3 grams including the bale which is only Gold Filled. The front cover is marked “Keystone 14K 5344151″ The back plate is not marked and it does test 14K all the components test 14K. The inside back plate is marked “3×0″ and Guaranteed 14k. 585 fine the KWC co. The case is nice and clean NO initials, the crystal is nice and clean no scuffs.
