Boss 18-Size Open-Face 10K Gold-Filled Antique Pocket Watch Case. This case measures approximately 54.6 mm across and 70.9 mm in total length including the bow. It is notched for a lever at 2 o’clock – see photos. Inside of the case back is signed KEYSTONE WATCH CASE J. BOSS 10K GOLD FILLED 9516110 – see photos. The case is in very good vintage condition with normal wear and some characteristic wear on the bow, neck, and crown – see photos. All covers close with no prominent gaps – see photos. Vintage 1888 Elgin Pocket Watch. Watch crystal is scratch-free. Running condition – after winding, will run all day, and keeps accurate time. Serial number is 3454658, which dates the watch to 1888. For more details about this watch there are websites where you can look up the serial number and it will; give you lots more data. This is a lever-set watch – to set the time, unscrew the crystal and pull out the lever (by the IV) (see last two photos). Do not pull out the crown, that may cause problems. This is a beautiful vintage ladies Waltham pocket watch with Keystone case. I tried various ways of photographing to capture the beautiful finish. This is 10K gold filled. I will include the chain which is also gold filled. The watch was part of my mom’s estate. It is not running. Width is just under 1.5.
