This is a beautiful piece of history. And a great conversation piece. The fact that it tells time is just a bonus. You can feel safe with this one, it’s a soft wind and feels durable. I grew up in the early’70s and I would have never guessed that’Sears and Roebuck’ would be highly collectable. This watch is smooth winding and feels good in your hand. That’s a big range for what should be the same watch. The problem is they are not all the same. This is a very rare, beautiful pocket watch. It features a gilt case, a triple sunk ivory color dial with roman numerals. It was manufactured about 1890 with a production run of ONLY 400. There is wear on the back case where the gold plating has worn through from use, please look carefully at the pictures.
