Ornate side winding pocket watch in working order. Case back has wear due to age, case is embossed. Crystal has a chip on the edge and some scratches the dial has a hairline between 12 and 1.

Let me bring to your attention the Illinois watch A. This is an original movement from a pocket watch, manufactured around 1910-20, serial number 4725599. This vintage movement has been fully serviced and carefully checked and then adapted to a new wrist case made of stainless steel, case dimensions in millimeters: diameter – 43, thickness – 12, leather strap width – 22, top and bottom bezels have mineral glass. The watch dial is brand new specially made for this mechanism. Please carefully look at all the photos and appreciate this watch, it has become the history of watchmaking and now it has received a new life continuing to serve every day showing the exact time! NICE 16s Illinois Gr 186, 17jD/S GOTHIC DIAL25yr Fahy’s Triple Hinged Case. The Movement is in Exceptional condition, no faults that I can find, Running well, the Double Sunk Gothic Dial has hairlines, the 25 year Fahy’s Triple Hinged Case is starting to show some brass on edges thin silvers, not that noticeable in person. This is a very good looking watch in its totality, the Dial and Case are not in premium condition, but in hand they look good. The Movement is fabulous, great color and condition. The case still has plenty of life left in it, Fahy’s made a very good 25 year case. If someone just wants just the movement and Dial, Please contact and I can change the listing.
