VINTAGE 55MM SWISS HIGH GRADE HUNTING CASE POCKET WATCH RUNNING. THE MOVEMENT IS RUNNING. THE DIAL HAS A COUPLE OF FAINT HAIRLINES. THE CASE IS IN NICE CONDITION WITH A SMALL DING ON THE BACK. This scarce pocket watch is in excellent running condition and the movement is absolutely stunning as you can see! The movement has the “nail set” mechanism. To set the hands, you press the lever in towards the movement, (it moves only about a millemeter) and set hands with the crown. When finished, press the crown button to release it and then the movement can be would. Note; “The dial and hands are no doubt by A Lange & Sohne” which would be a collaboration. The dial is beautiful and it is flawless! The crystal has a crack. The 14k gold case is in good condition with regular wear including some minor bumps or unevenness on the covers. Case measures 52mm and total weight is 94.3 grams. Comes with its original leather box from retailers Kettell & Blake of Boston which is in very good condition. BEAUTIFUL 18K SOLID GOLD CASED SWISS POCKET CHRONOGRAPH WATCH IN WORKING CONDITION! I believe this nice watch was made by Agassiz – going by the movement layout. There is a dial marked’Patent’ with 30 minute register and an unusual outer track. The crown used used to wind the watch and to start/stop and reset the chronograph. The time is lever set. The case is of a style I haven’t seen before – see pictures. Made by CK Colby New York (I looked up the symbol) – so obviously cased here in the USA. There is an inner metal frame (not gold) that surrounds the movement. The back and front covers are 18k solid gold and are quite thick. Though I don’t know the gold weight I believe there is probably close to 60 grams of gold given that the watch weighs 134.8 grams. The bow and much of the pendant are solid gold as well. This watch appears to have seen very little use. It appears near new. The dial is perfect. The covers open and close as they should. Diameter of the watch is about 54.57mm. LeCoultre High Grade Wolfs Tooth 32 J Minute Repeater Hunter Case Pocket Watch. This watch is running excellent and I have observed it for about 20 hours where it has kept accurate time. It is not signed anywhere though it is very close to the image of the LeCoultre cal 43B HC in a 2014 copy I have of the complete price guide to watches, only this one is higher grade with wolfs tooth winding, double hairspring stud screws and jeweled to the hammers with about 32 jewels total according to the image on page 518. To see it in action, please copy this link. The movement is very nice looking though there are a few blemishes as you can see. The slide activates the repeater where it sounds the hours, quarters and minutes. The double sunk dial is excellent and free from any hairlines or chips. The fancy 20 year gold filled case is almost like (new old stock) except for the fact that the cover opens a little farther than it should and the screw that holds the crown in is wrong as it is too short to hold the crown in.
