For your consideration, a beautiful Hamilton. Grade 952L (Lever Set). 10K Gold Filled Case. 5800 total production of lever set variant. This 952L pocket pocket watch, at the time of manufacture, was one of Hamilton’s most prestigious pocket watches made. It is railroad grade and railroad approved; adjusted to temperature, isochronism, and 5 positions. The watch has 19 ruby and sapphire jewels. The bridge nickel movement has a damascene pattern of linear lines. The movement markings are in gold inlay. The watch sets, winds, and runs. It is not known when the movement was last serviced and it has not been timed for accuracy. As with any vintage watch, a proper cleaning, oiling, and servicing is recommended. The private label , double sunk, glass enamel dial has bold Arabic numerals with a small edge chip at the lever (near the black #1) which is not visible with the bezel in place. The red #5 at the five minute mark is faded. The private label on the dial reads: The Edwards Jewelry Store ; Pittsfield, Mass. Refer to the pictures. The Dueber Watch Case Co 10K gold filled case shows minimal wear. The back of the case has an elaborate monogram which appears to be ” T A S “. The crystal is in excellent condition. Model 5, Adjusted to temp. And 6 positions, the movement was last serviced on July 2018 it is super clean, It. Winds, Sets & Runs, keeps great time, it is ticking strong. Housed in a nice 10K G. 0675682 Bar over Crown. The crown is in excellent condition the bow is loose, both covers glide on/off smoothly and seals shut, it is a very nice and clean case, you might detect some pocket scratches from normal use and there is a small dent on the center at 4. The beautiful double sunk boxcar dial is almost mint condition has a hard to see faint hairline at the center below the hands. The glass crystal is clear with some scratches. The hands are Black Spade and whip in excellent condition. This is a great pocket watch to add to your collection or just to carry it on daily bases. Adjusted # of Positions. 22.3, 38.0, 57.1. This is a beautiful vintage mens Ball railroad pocket watch from a local estate collection. The watch is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewels, serial #B626685 (grade 999 P). The movement is in excellent condition. It runs strong and seems to be keeping good time. I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be perfectly reliable. The porcelain dial is original and excellent. Nice blued steel hands. The white gold filled case is the original marked Ball, stirrup bow. 14K white gold filled. It is in my opinion the nicest looking of the Ball railroad cases. The case is covered in deco designs, and has no dents, wear, brassing, or monograms. This is a high grade original watch.
