Offered for sale is an antique Hamilton #992B (USA) open-faced railroad grade pocket watch, probably ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a genuine Hamilton Model #10 (by Wadsworth) 10k yellow gold filled screw back and bezel case, a 21-jewel grade 992B adjusted stem-wind lever-set movement, and a double-sunk porcelain dial with black numerals and baton hands. The case is in excellent condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and no visible brassing. The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time. I serviced the movement and fitted a new glass crystal in January 2023. Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
