These watches were produced by Illinois, Elgin, Hampden and others for businesses around the country. This particular watchcase is a 20-year gold filled model that is 35mm (1 1/4 diameter). The watch movement is 28mm or a 3/0 US size. Condition wise, the watch case in in excellent condition. It has beautiful Art Nouveau design engraved on each side. All 3 hinged opening are tight and open at 45 degrees, which implies that this watch was barely used. The front crystal is missing. The front cover does not stay closed. The balance wheel needs balanced and only moves if it’s pushed with a small tool. The watch winds continuously and DOES NOT RUN.
