Elgin, high-grade father Time 21 Jewel railroad grade antique pocket watch in a beautiful 10 karat gold filled Keystone case. Watch is in good running order with good motion and seems to keep time, but I have not checked it over a long period. Movement is a beautifully finished and highly Damascened movement with gilt lettering. Movement features a gold train, jewel settings, and timing screws and is adjusted to five positions. Case is a very nice Keystone 10 karat gold filled screw back and bezel case, But does have an inscription engraved on the back. Sharp detail to engraving. Dial is the original double sunk bold Arabic Elgin dial and looks great, but has a chip near the second spot. Watch winds and sets correctly. Please see pictures for more information and condition.

This antique Elgin pocket watch from 1903 is a stunning piece that comes with its original wooden case. The watch has a beautiful white dial with Arabic numerals and a 12-hour dial. The watch features a mechanical (manual) movement with 7 jewels and a seconds hand. The gold-filled case is in great condition and has a yellow gold color. The watch is a a mid size pocket watch suitable for anyone and has somewhat of has a dress/formal style. The model number is Philadelphia warranted case co 4011450, Elgin National Watch Co 9870464 dated 1903, and it was manufactured in the United States. It is a great addition to any watch collection. This watch comes in the original wooden case. The inside dedication reads as follows. On her 49th Birthday. The watch is in running condition, however, accuracy is unlikely as with all watches of this nature and age. It has a wind up mechanism and is set also the same way. Elgin 14k pocket watch that subs as a night stand clock in its original case. Early 1900′s glass and watch face near perfect. I have not tried to wind or open in fear of hurting the watch, it may be perfectly fine. Thank you for looking.

This is a functional and very old Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket watch with a beautiful B&B Royal case material and a white analog dial color. It has a mechanical (manual) movement and was manufactured between 1886 to 1895. Unfortunately, it does not come with papers or original box/packaging. This pocket watch was designed for men and falls under the categories of watches, pocket watches, watches parts and accessories, as well as jewelry and watches. It is not customized and the model is unknown. Despite its age, it still functions well and is a great addition for collectors or anyone who appreciates vintage timepieces.

Cannot seem to get it to wind up. Some wear – “damage ” where someone prayed open the case multiple times.

It is a manual wind pocket. With an original Elgin. Mechanical movement, grade 289, 7 Jewels. Model 2, 6s, class 115, unadjusted, sub second hand, made in U. Original white ceramic dial featuring black Roman Numerals, black minute track (with red Arabic Numerals every 5min) and blue steel matching hands. The sub second is located at 6 o’clock. The dial is also signed with the Elgin name/logo on top. With fancy engraved design and d. All in yellow gold filled. After +115 years, it runs very well and keeps great time! Thank you for looking! Antique Elgin Pocket Watch Hunting Case Grade 216 (Model 2) Serial 8616764 Estimated Production Year: 1900 Runs Good. I have wound this daily for the last 10 days and it’s keeping good time. About the gold content on this fine watch. The thickness of the gold is far more than ordinary gold filled. From what knowledgable watchmakers have told me the outer cases were made of solid gold with a base metal center, so there is more than doubt quite a bit of gold even if you just decided to scrap the case (which would be sad). This watch was serviced about 3 years ago. The movement is stamped: 8616764 15 Jewels Elgin Natl. Inside the movement lid (dust cover) it says Guaranteed 20 Years J. Inside the back lid reads: Keystone Watch Case 2637183. Stamped inside the cover is 2637183. The crystal is clear and the enameled dial is clean except a pale green line between the 3 and 4. It doesn’t present itself as a crack, but I want to be up front about everything. The case is 42mm wide or about 1.5 inches. Has a monogram shield on the front but no engraving. Weighs 2.2 ounces or 62.2 grams. Suitable for both men or women.
