Illinois Burlington 21-jewel hunting cased pocket watch, 16-size, 50mm, gold-filled original Burlington Watch Co hunting case engraved with owners name on front cover, stem-wind pendant-set, original silvered metal double-sunk dial with radium numerals, fully capped lever escapement, 21 jewels, broad ribbed pattern nickel damascene, s#3534226. Examined by yours truly, a specialist in antique and vintage watches since 1971: Good running order, not serviced, fine movement condition overall, cloudy plates/bridges, some microfine scratches, hardly any oxide, excellent settings; dial fine, sparse black microspeckle, radium loss at 5; hands near mint; case shows light wear, many microfine scratches, very few light dents or dings, flat dimpled dent on back cover edge, clearly engraved name detail; bow tight, worn to brass, crown shows light wear with brass highlights; good glass crystal in original bezel.
