Appleton Tracy, Measuring 52.5mm diameter by 16.8mm thick this large, antique, Hunter Case Pocket Watch has the serial number 993007, which dates this watch to 1877. It is a size 18 and has 15 jewels. The main spring and hair spring are in working order, but this watch will not stay running for more than 10 seconds, before it stops. This is a thick, 18K hunter case pocket watch, which weighs 109.7 grams. We guarantee this watch is at least 53grams of 18K gold. Movement: serial number 1904199, Grade. Model 1877, 15 jewels, Size 18. Stem wind and level set. Adjusted to Position: Yes. Dial: White Porcelain, sunken dial, a few hard to see hairlines, no chips. Crystal is in good condition. The bow is nice and tight. The case shows normal pocket wear. Both front & back covers open beyond 90 degrees and close with a good tight seal. I opened the covers using a case opening knife. Inside of back cover: It says, “Dueber Silverine”. PLEASE CAREFULLY LOOK BACK AT THE PICTURES.
