1831 Nice Pair case Verge Fusee by Holistone, Liverpool. Very fine sterling silver pair case verge fusee watch by Holistone of Liverpool. This watch bears the Birmingham hallmark “h” for the year 1831 and the case was made by Thomas Spicer”TS” of Coventry. The watch measures a large 56mm in diameter, both cases have matching hallmarks and open close(snap tight) as designed. The case button and spring are in good condition. The verge fusee movement signed “Holistone, Liverpool #21177″ has been serviced and is running strong keeping very good time. The porcelain dial is original with Roman numerals and looks perfect. The hands are matching and appear original and watch has nice ld domed glass crystal. This is a very fine pair case verge fusee watch, nice nd complete. Antique Hamilton railway pocket watch Grade 992B. Absolutely beautiful, some wear / surface scratching on case back. Gorgeous dial, overall very well kept, currently running smooth. Presented is a nice example of the Hamilton Railroad grade 992B in its original Model 2 case, with its original double sunk dial and great running high grade movement. The lever set open face movement is a 16′s with 21 jewels, featuring nice bright nickle straight lined damaskeened plates with black lettering, Elinvar Balance with great motion, and gold jewel settings. It was cleaned just a couple of weeks ago and runs great. It is marked Hamilton Watch Co. USA 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions and bears the serial number C409677. The movement is clean, the balance has great motion and other than a couple of specks there are no issues I can see. The very Model 2 case looks great with a semi tight bow and is cosmetically in very nice condition but does have some light waves on the back that I can’t depict in the images. The bezels screw off just fine and it is marked on the bottom body “W 10K Gold Filled” and on the inside “Wadsworth 10K Gold Filled”. The original Montgomery double sunk enamel dial is in very nice condition with no issues that I can find other that a touch of bezel rash around the edge and is signed “Hamilton Railway Special” in block. Very nice original black steel hands. Nice original glass crystal. NICE ANTIQUE PATEK PHILIPPE & CIE 20 JEWEL HUNTING CASE POCKET WATCH MOVEMENT ONLY! This movement is mechanically excellent. It will tick and has a good balance staff and train of wheels. You will want to supply a stem and crown. The diameter of the dial is 43.5mm. There are diamond markers glued (I believe) to the dial. Maybe they could be removed but I don’t know for sure. The dial is signed on the front and back. There is one short hairline. The second hand missing but the post for it is there. The movement is marked’adjusted’ and has cap jewels at the lever and escape wheel. Note the wolf’s tooth winding and the cam or snail regulator. There is a counterpoised moustache lever. All the steel parts are highly polished. I expect you will want to clean/oil this movement but it does tick with good motion already. There is dust/dirt as you can see. Presented is a nice 21 jewel 16s Illinois Bunn Special, circa 1924, in a scarce attractive yellow gold filled correct signed case with a double sunk dial and recently serviced high grade movement. This Model 9 Bunn Special Grade features 21 jewels, gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, gold train and fancy damaskeened nickle plates and is a lever set. It has been very recently cleaned and is marked Bunn Special Illinois Watch Co. Springfield Adjusted Temp and Six Positions and bears the serial number 4532729. There are no signs of rust or corrosion, all the black filled is intact in the lettering and the balance has wonderful motion. The original double sunk boxcar dial features bold Arabic numbers and a large sub second bit at the 6 position. The dial faces up very nicely, as you can see in the pics but does have 2 light hairlines, one at the 12 and one at the bottom below the seconds bit. It is simply signed “Illinois” in and arc. Nice/very decent original wine colored steel hands. The scarce first model signed Bunn Special case (in 40 years of fooling with watches, this the the very first pattern back I’ve ever seen with this model) is a screw back and bezel yellow gold filled and features the unique to this style case bow with a bead/coin edge. Its in very nice condition with an unpersonalized crest with virtually no wearthru that I can find and the only this I do see is a slight “push” on the back that you need to reflect around to see. It is signed “Bunn Special Model 10 Karat Gold Filled Wadsworth Quality Pat’s Pend’g” and sports a new glass crystal. Nice Illinois railroad approved Bunn Special in a very scarce case.
