Here is a freshly serviced 1906 Elgin 18S gilt stem set and wind movement. It’s been keeping within a minute or so for the last 3 weeks. The white dial has a mark around the 3-4. Hands are straight and nicely blued still. The bow stands up firm. The crown appears to be new old stock. There is a new old stock mineral glass crystal installed. It has a small edge chips in it that’s almost unnoticeable. The front cover is very finicky but it goes. Goes easier with a rubber grip.

Elgin thin model 12 size pocket watch from 1937. This is the thin movement with detent that Elgin produced for the “thin” pocket watch craze of the 30s. It has a fancy Deuber 20 year white gold filled case with peacocks at a fountain engraved on the back. It has been serviced and keeps time to within a minute a day. Painted dial with fancy hands.. The dial has some age marks but it still looks good. Bow stays in place. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.
