Antique Aurora Watch Co. Mechanical Pocket Watch w/Dueber Silverine Watch Case. Watch was produced earlier than the radium craze, but I checked it under UV and found that the glass is glowing. I haven’t found any information saying that the use of Vaseline glass was common in pocket watches. Exact item is pictured, so please inspect photos closely for quality and defects. Antique American Waltham Watch Co. Pocket watch, circa 1908, in a Roy Watch Case Co. Full hunter case marked solid 14K yellow gold / 585/1000 fine. The watch is a 12 size pocket watch and weighs approximately 63.10 grams total, including the case, movement, dial, crystal, crown, and bow. The case was also weighed separately from the movement/dial assembly and is approximately 25 grams, as shown in the photos. This is the case assembly weight, not pure gold content. The movement is marked. A. W. W. Co. Movement serial number: 16853423. The case is marked. ROY / 14K / 585/1000 Fine. Case serial number: 631220. The watch runs when wound. It has not been professionally serviced, cleaned, or timed by me, so accuracy and long-term operation are not guaranteed. The case is a full hunter style with engine-turned guilloche decoration, reeded case band, monogrammed cartouche, and matching decorated covers. The case has a warm yellow gold tone and is marked 14K / 585/1000 Fine. Interior inscription appears to read To Dolores From Louis. The watch has a white dial with Roman numerals, red outer minute markers, blued hands, and a small seconds subdial. Condition notes: The watch shows normal antique wear from age and use, including surface scratches, light patina/tarnish, small marks, and wear to the case and crystal. 935 SILVER NIELLO POCKET WATCH CASE PERRET & BERTHOUD LOCLE. 935 silver niello pocket watch case by Perret & Berthoud of Locle, featuring elaborate ivy and vine decoration, original blue cabochon crown, and untouched cartouche. A beautiful example of late 19th-century Swiss decorative silverwork. Dating to the late Victorian / Belle Époque period, this richly decorated Swiss pocket watch case was produced by Perret & Berthoud of Locle, one of Switzerland’s historic watchmaking centers. The exterior is adorned with intricate ivy, grapevine, and floral motifs executed in traditional niello work, a decorative technique in which engraved silver is filled with a dark metallic alloy to create striking contrast and depth. The resulting black-and-silver surface highlights the flowing botanical forms associated with the Art Nouveau movement and the decorative arts of the Belle Époque era. At the center rests an untouched cartouche framed by the surrounding niello decoration. The reverse features an additional polished reserve, also left unmonogrammed, a desirable detail as many surviving examples from the period were personalized. This is a gold-filled (not solid gold) case – base metal with a bonded gold layer. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, red outer minute track, and sub-seconds dial at 6, signed Waltham. Condition – honest disclosure. Running at time of listing. Dial has a hairline crack visible crossing the center toward the lower dial. Otherwise the enamel is bright with no major chips noted. Case shows brassing/wear on the bezel edge and pendant, consistent with age and use. A solid, genuine turn-of-the-century American pocket watch. From an estate, found exactly as you see it here. NO CASE, NO KEY. Just as you see it here. I tried to wind this using a borrowed keylike thing, but it runs only for a second or two. Looks beautiful to my inexperienced eye, but it’s obviously going to need some help. You know, because those things are not included.

1925 production year Illinois Time King pocket watch. Grade 406 Model 3. 19 jewel 12 size, openface, double roller. Octagon shaped, Illinois Watch Case. Chrome plated base metal very nice condition ornate edged design with shield on the back. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals and blued hands very nice condition as well as acrylic crystal. Pocket watch is currently in very good running condition has not been tested for time accuracy.
