ANTIQUE THOMAS RUSSELL & SON GENEVE 14KT GOLD POCKET WATCH HALF HUNTER CASE. Up for sale is this Thomas Russell & Son Geneve Pocket watch Half Hunter Case. Pocket watch case is marked K14 for 14KT Gold. This case measures 43mm. Includes the wind key to wind pocket watch and adjust the time. There is a crack in the window of the pocket watch but the glass is holding together (See Close Up Photos). The watch is in working condition it has been running. It is running slow on time. Throughout the day all day it was running about 5 minutes slow most of the day and by the end of the day it was almost 10 minutes slow. It can be adjusted to run faster just don’t want to fool with it and possibly damage it. I pack your items like I would want my stuff to be packed, safe and sound. Vintage 1904 American WALTHAM Case GOLD Filled/Plated POCKET WATCH. Closing out the last watches from an estate from my grandfather. These were his watches. From my research the movement serial number dates this to 1878. Someone else told me it is 1904 from another site. Serial number 13827461 and you should be able to see them in the photos. The case is marked PHILADELPHIA WATCH CASE CO. GUARANTEED TWENTY YEARS 8263917 It is NOT stamped 14kt anywhere and why I assume it is only filled or plated. There is a case that covers the movement and then another case that covers that. The face does not cover. The total weight is 97.6 grams. The second back cover has one hinge pin that has pulled out from the base and will need to be closed and soldered. The engraving along the edges of the face and back cover are very ornate. It looks to be initials in the center but could be simply a design. The movement measures right about 40mm across so I estimate the size to 12/13 from what I found on line. The case measures 50mm across. It needs to be taken apart, cleaned and restored. When I shake it the main spring moves but stops after a while.
