On Offer is an Antique Hamilton Pocket Watch S18 size Gold filled case. This Antique Pocket Watch was made in 1894 with a serial number of 57441 and is Grade 975. Serial number and store are engraved on the inside workings. The grade came from research of serial numbers. The watch sets, winds and runs and the ticking is audible. Pulling the set mechanism in and out is difficult. I can do it with pressure, however a gentle attempt with pliers is easy. Also when winding, the hands do not move freely at first, however after a few turns they do. I suspect years of inactivity causes both these issues. Hamilton started business in 1892 in Lancaster PA, thus this is a very early watch. Thank you for viewing. Pocket watch case is marked K14 for 14KT Gold. Includes the wind key to wind pocket watch and adjust the time. There is a crack in the window of the pocket watch but the glass is holding together (See Close Up Photos). The watch is in working condition it has been running. It is running slow on time. Throughout the day all day it was running about 5 minutes slow most of the day and by the end of the day it was almost 10 minutes slow. It can be adjusted to run faster just don’t want to fool with it and possibly damage it. I pack your items like I would want my stuff to be packed, safe and sound.
