Early Trenton 18 Size Antique Hunting Case Watch. This antique Trenton pocket watch is 18 size (case diameter 53 mm). This is a Model 2 made about 1890. The movement is 7 jewels and lever set. The dial is original and has several faint hairlines. The case is thin gold plate in pretty good shape outside as shown with a little brass showing but very little wear. The case lift spring does not work, so you have to open the front cover. This is an interesting and fairly scarce early American pocket watch. This watch runs but gains around 20 minutes per day, so it may need to be serviced, or may just have a dirty hairspring. Sorry, this is NOT a “Make Offer” listing.
