Early Appleton Tracy & Co. 14K Solid Gold Hunter. This fine, early American Watch Co. Hunter is 18 size (case diameter 54 mm). The case is marked A. Co for American Watch Co. The case is extremely nice with no dents and almost little wear. The lid opens and closes correctly. This pocket watch has an Appleton Tracy & Co Movement. Which has a gilt finish, lever set, 15 jewels, micrometer regulator and keeps pretty decent time. Both Case and Movement are original combination. The Dial and hands are original , with no visible flaws. The case is a 40dwt case, Which equals 62 grams of 14k gold. Total weight of the entire watch is 130.7 grams. Overall Condition of the watch considering its age is very good to excellent , this fine example of American Timepiece and would be a great addition to your collection. March 1881 – May 1881. Antique very rare Aurora 18s Chronometer pocket watch 1886 beautiful hunter case

Up for sale is a very rare higher grade 18 size Aurora chronometer pocket watch made in 1886/7 for a private label and engraved the J. It is in a beautifully decorated gold filled Hunter case. Movement : This watch runs well and keeps good time. The all original movement has 15 jewels , adjusted, and is probably Rail Road grade, which makes it very rare. All the serial numbers match, and it is in really great condition. Dial : The double sunk dial is in very good condition with no issues. Case : The gold filled Hunter’s case is beautifully decorated with a stag design, and is in very good condition. The covers open and close as they should, although when the lids are closed they do leave a slight gap. This is a very special and beautiful watch! This watch is ready to carry or display.
