Up for sale is a very rare higher grade 18 size Aurora chronometer pocket watch made in 1886/7 for a private label and engraved the J. It is in a beautifully decorated gold filled Hunter case. Movement : This watch runs well and keeps good time. The all original movement has 15 jewels , adjusted, and is probably Rail Road grade, which makes it very rare. All the serial numbers match, and it is in really great condition. Dial : The double sunk dial is in very good condition with no issues. Case : The gold filled Hunter’s case is beautifully decorated with a stag design, and is in very good condition. The covers open and close as they should, although when the lids are closed they do leave a slight gap. This is a very special and beautiful watch! This watch is ready to carry or display.
