Amazing 21 Jewel 16 size Howard Watch Co. Rail Road Chronometer open face 18k Gold Filled case pocket watch. Outstanding near Mint condition White porcelain dial with bold black numbers. Beautifully Blued Rail Road hands. There is just one unseen super light hair line from center to the number 9. All case covers screw open and close perfectly together. Beautiful stiff Double bar Rail Road bow with a sharp crisp crown. The crystal is spotless. The movement is gleaming and super clean in as close to mint condition as you could find. The Howard 21 jewel movement serial number 1360538 dates to approx. The 16 size Series 11 lever set movement is unbelievably crisp with its large Gold Jeweled escapement setting and smooth machine finish. The winding wheels are near spotless. It’s a World War One era, 21 Jewel Double Roller, adjusted to 5 positions. Marked ” Railroad Chronometer” and R. Adjustment on the movement. Pocket Watch sets and runs outstanding with all pivots lightly oiled and the balance with beautiful motion and has been keeping outstanding time. Note all of my pocket watches have been personally serviced and restored to there best working order according to there age and condition. The 100 year old Series 11 is a beautiful high quality E. The outstanding condition Original matching Keystone Extra watch case was the best and highest grade 18K White G/F case they had. I researched the case because there are no Gold markings, but found that “extra” was designated for “18K” Gold Filled. The case has absolutely no wear thru or brassing at all. The bow has some slight wear from normal use and there are two tiny dinks on the rear cover otherwise just an outstanding Watch case. Double Chronograph Split Second Rattrapante Silver Case Pocket Watch For Repair ONLY + Box. Condition as in the pictures, used with age related issues. The watch is complete, with no damaged movement parts. The timing function is in good working condition. However, the chronograph function cannot be activated. The reason is that the crown pusher is replaced or blocked and the chronograph cannot be started. Therefore, for optimal performances repair / serviced is to be done. As usually there is not a reserved price. YOU WILL DECIDE THE CORRECT PRICE! Stem wind and stem set, unmarked. Winding ok, time setting ok. The chronograph function cannot be started from the crown pusher. The side split pusher works properly. The movement comes in a 0,925 silver open face case. The case has a back cover, a dust cover and a front cover which are closing firmly, with a snap. Normal minor dents and opening scratches. The watch measure 52 mm in diameter and weights 100 grams. The white enamel dial and the hands are. In very good condition please see the pictures. Only one fine hairline on the center, between the small subdials. Outer five-minute divisions, outer 1/5 second divisions for chronograph. The dial has full set of original purple steel hands. The mineral glass is original, in very good condition.
