HAMILTON WATCH CASE HAS SERIAL NUMBER K374827 AND IS 10K GOLD-FILLED. INSIDE OF CASE BACK IS MONOGRAMMED. POCKET WATCH HAS STEM FOR WINDING AND LEVER FOR SETTING TIME. THERE MAY BE SOME SMALL SCRATCHES OR CRACKS IN THE CRYSTAL THAT MAY NOT BE VISIBLE FROM MY PICTURES. Circa 1788 Working Verge fusee Silver pair case by J. Sterling silver working pair case verge fusee watch by John Hutchinson of Worksop, England. Original pair cases with London hallmark “n” for the year 1788. Case made by Nicholas Thomas Wood(NTW) of 21 St. Case back has button missing spring that hold closed. Sterling case measures 51 mm in diameter. Watch has nice old porcelain dial with old hands. Verge fusee movement signed John Hutchinson, Worksop? Fusee chain in good condition. The movement is 18th Century nice gilt plates, winds all the way up and runs completely down. The movement runs fast. With a service this could be a very usable and collectible watch. Stunning solid 14k gold case on this antique Howard Pocket Watch. It’s a 10s, 17 jewel watch, serial # 1258406 dates the movement to the 1860s, but the case is engraved from 1921. Watch winds a little weird, but runs and the second hand ticks right along for a while. The minute and hour hands turn freely, but don’t move when the watch is running. The watch has some unique factory features. The model 2 Hamilton case is in perfect condition, and has the factory engraved back with monogram, a very uncommon case! The case shows no wear, brass or dents, and is in 10k rose- gold fill. The bow has no wear and holds firm. The winding crown is crisp showing no wear at all. The bezel and back cover screw on and off correctly and fit tight. The glass crystal is very nice, with no scratches. The Hamilton enamel, bold numeral boxcar dial is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or hairlines. The blue steel hands are excellent as well. The uncommon dial is an interesting factory variation, as it has the arrows out at each hour chapter. Very few of these dials were produced! The 21 jewel Elinvar movement is very beautiful, it is clean and bright, with no spotting or rust. The movement winds smoothly and sets properly, running with a strong smooth motion of the balance wheel and is keeping time! This 992E movement is from the 2nd run production 1930-35. With approximately 60,000 total Elinvars produced! A true one star rated and very beautiful and pristine timepiece. I would rate this watch G-7+ near mint to mint condition. I don’t see too many of these high grade Hamilton 12 Size pocket watches. This is a Hamilton Open Face Model 900 Pocket Watch is a SIGNED Hamilton hold filled case. Marked “Permanent” and measures 47.0 mm wide not including the bow and crown. Has a great looking American Eagle engrave case back. It is the Roman Sigaev Eagle. Very little wear on this case. Has a Christmas 1917 Dedication on the inside dust cover lid. The SIGNED movement is a real beauty. It is a 19 Jewel 5 Adjust Breguet hairspring micrometer regulator multiple finger movement. Has gold jewel settings and an almost engine turn damaskeening. This watch does run and is stem wound and stem set. The stem is a little stiff getting into the set mode. Has a serial # 1,750,816 which dates this watch to 1909. The SIGNED dial is not as nice as the rest of the watch. There is a significant chip at the 2 o’clock marker and a few other hairlines. The hands are blued and are matching. Again this 108 year old Hamilton Model 900 pocket watch does run. I sell all my watches as-is and as found.
