Watch Co Royal Waltham 14k gold hunter cased pocket watch. This pocket watch is a very fine quality example. The pocket watch winds and runs perfectly. The serial number indicates this pocket watch was produced c1885. The pocket watch has all its original parts and the movement has a unique design. The pocket watch has a very fine 14k solid gold hunter case. The case is in extremely fine condition and has never been monogrammed. All the lids open and close perfectly and tightly. The enamel dial has some light hairlines to the one side. You could otherwise not hope to find a nicer estate fresh example. The pocket watch measures 2 1/4 inches tall, by 1 5/8 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick. The pocket watch weighs 64.4 grams. This pocket watch presently winds and runs nicely. The pocket watch has a fine design with hand painted porcelain enamel dial, and a finely enameled back case. The watch shows a few light marks and the dial has a light hairline only noticeable upon close inspection. The harp has a small enamel loss to the top. The pocket watch is otherwise in fine estate fresh condition for its age. The pocket watch came from the estate with this very nice tooled leather case and key. The pocket watch measures 2 1/4 inches tall, by 1 5/8 inches wide, and 3/8s of an inch thick. The pocket watch weighs 41.6 grams. BEST OF LUCK WITH THE AUCTIONS! For sale is this 177? . Antique Sterling Silver Tho’s Ponier? St Albans, Verge Fusee Pocket Watch with pair case and tin outer case, some tethering and papers with prior owners name, date of death (John Buttler July 9th 1795). This watch is in need of repair the chain is off but looks whole and fixable. This has been in a safe for over 80yrs. Possibly come from New England area (ny, mass, conn). Stamp marks put this to be about 1768/1778. Comes with chain & key. It is missing the top loop, has homemade ring & wire to hold chain on. I think over all in good to great shape. You will see in pictures the outer tin case & papers that will come with.. I was told this could have been a naval persons watch because of the tin outer case?
