A stunning 107 year old large & heavy size 6s Waltham 14K gold hunter with a signed Waltham 15 jewel damaskeened movement in excellent operating condition! This is your chance to own an exceptional antique stem wind & set Victorian 14K solid gold Waltham hunter cased pocket watch in about mint condition. With amazing hand engraved 14K yellow gold case and covers and no monogram! This beautiful antique timepiece has a case diameter of 38mm and weighs a substantial 49.8 grams, about half of which is 14K gold. I mention the gold content for a base value only. I would never destroy a beautiful antique gold pocket watch for the gold content. It is my hope that this watch ends up in the hands of an ardent collector for many years of enjoyment and appreciation! This gorgeous antique Waltham remains in about mint condition with no dents, scratches or repairs. The only thing keeping it from mint is one superficial and very shallow “crease ding” at the center bottom of the engine turned decoration that you can’t even see unless you hold it just right under light. The 14K gold front cover pops open smartly to exactly 90 degrees when the stem is depressed. All other 14K gold covers also open to exactly 90 degrees and all covers snap tightly shut. The wind is silky smooth and it keeps excellent time. Note the incredible hand chased decorations on this superb example! Each cover features intricate scrolls and florals at both the top and bottom over an engine turned ground that shows no wear! The entire 14K gold case edge has incredible tiny scroll engravings. Please examine the many photos for a close look. There’s an elegant monogram cartouche bordered by scrolls & florals at the front cover center that has never been monogrammed. The fine signed ” WALTHAM ” porcelain dial is snow white and pristine. With original blue steel spade hands and black Arabic numerals and a small seconds sweep marked out in 10 second intervals. All three covers and case are 14K solid yellow gold. The inside front cover is stamped ” KEYSTONE 14K 5190362 “. The inside rear cover is also stamped. The inside of the polished 14K gold cuvee is stamped GUARANTEED 14K. 585 FINE THE K. All serial numbers match, proving the watch to be all original. The pristine damaskeened movement is signed.
