The size of the leather bound case is 57 m. A lot of the pins are in place. DIAL is in very good condition with lovely enamel cartouches. The glass is very high mineral and clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs Time keeping Aprox + or – 1-2 minuets per hour, mask engraved and scroll pierced engraved balance cock. Amazing time keeping for a watch that is over 300 years old. Engraved on the back plate with the makers name. The watch has square pillars and a verge escapement. The London hallmark is for 1772. The watch was made by Thomas Davies who was working in Monmouth Wales from the 1770s to the 1790s. Then the watch was retailed by John Harrit and assayed in London. The watch is in working order but I havent tested fully for timekeeping so I cant guarantee that.
