It is a True Beauty!! The Model 1892 movement is marked American Waltham Watch Co. Safety Pinion with the serial number. Dating this timepiece to the 1888 according to published production records. It is in Excellent running. The Pendent Set movement sets and winds properly as well as keeps excellent time. The Single Sunk Dial is in excellent condition. It has Black Roman Numerals with outer black minute markings. It is marked American Watch Co. Waltham beneath the 12 position with Blue Steel Spade Hands which are excellent as well as the subsidiary hand. The Solid Yellow Gold Case is in Fine Condition. It is marked Waltham, 14K, 240894 inside the case back. (Personalization on the dust cover). WILL BE INITIATED on the 4th day. The silver case measures 50mm in diameter. What porcelain dial has some hairlines but is in decent shape with some light hairlines and one small edge chip (cannot be seen with bezel on). The dial is stamped. The 900 silver case is stamped. 0,900 (hallmark)(hallmark) 72780. On the inner back cover. Case is in good shape. The movement is signed. SWITZERLAND Continental Watch Co. Stem wind and lever set (lever located at the left of the crown). The watch runs the full length of the mainspring BUT only in the FACE DOWN position. When the watch is turned dial side up, it will run for up to a minute then stop. I checked the balance staff and it looks ok. Maybe the top jewel or the balance pivot is dirty. Either way, it will need some cleaning. The calendar discs to the back are all functioning except for the DAY because of the missing button. Im sure any competent jeweler can fabricate one. The bottom dial is quite unusual. Instead of the typical moonphase discs that you see, this one has a rotating inner disk that shows a moon in its different phases full, crescent, etc. Also, that bottom dial has a nice scene overlooking a bridge with mother of pearl accents. Verge Fusee Triple Calendar Chronograph Painted Dial Silver Case Pocket Watch. Offered for sale is this beautiful and rare Triple Calendar Chronograph Painted Dial Silver Case Pocket. Maker or production year unknown. As in the pictures, used with age related issues. Used, but very clean. The watch is in good working condition, running STRONG and keeping relevant time. However, for optimal performances cleaned / serviced is to be done. The calendar function are not tested and not guaranteed to work properly. The reason for that is that there is no side pusher or lever to adjust or verify the calendar functions. This is a pretty rare and high value watch. A one-time only collector find! The listed price is based on the average item market value. However, YOU WILL DECIDE THE CORRECT PRICE! Perfect Gilt fusee verge calendar chronograph movement. Key wind and key set, unmarked. It might be a maker sign under the dial. The supplied key is suitable only for winding the watch. For setting the time another size key is required, not supplied. The watch winds fully and works for the entire chain length. The movement comes in a sterling silver open face case. The case is marked AWB Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss Co. ? Normal minor dents and opening scratches. The watch measure 57,5 mm in diameter and weights including the chain 145 grams. The unique genuine painted enamel dial is in. Good condition please see the pictures. Only some hairlines and some chip damaged near the winding hole. The dial have 3 calendar subdials counters: the date counter at left, the week day counter at right and the month counter at 12. Outer fifteen-minute divisions for chronograph. The dial has full set of hands. The mineral glass is original, with visible usage marks, but in good general condition. Matching trumpet designed key is also included.
