Pocket Watch Case

Antique c1910 16 size 18k solid gold pocket watch with incredibly decorated 18k solid gold scenery dial. The Elgin railroad grade 455 B. Raymond 19 jewel stem wind lever set movement presently runs and keeps good time. I do not know when the watch was last serviced. The dial shows tri color gold floral decoration around the outer edges with carved seaport scenery in the center. The watch is in really nice condition. The gold is lightly tarnished in spots. The crystal is clear with no chips and only light surface wear. Lever set function works proerly. The case measures 60mm long(to top of winding stem) x 50mm wide and has a gross weight of 86.5 grams. Hallmarks on inside of back cover have faded but the case and dial have been professionally tested and are fully guaranteed to be at least 18K in content. The inner dust cover is only gold plated. PER SERIAL NUMBER 22244141 MOVEMENT WAS MANUFACTURED IN 1919 AND HAS 19 JEWELS (SEE PICTURES). B&B (BATES AND BACON) WATCH CASE HAS SERIAL NUMBER 6568783 AND IS GOLD FILLED BUT I DO NOT KNOW IF ITS 10K, 14K, ETC. WATCH WINDS FROM THE STEM (PENDANT) AND SETS BY THE LEVER ON THE FACE – WINDS OK. WATCH FACE HAS A WIND INDICATOR WHICH MOVES FROM THE DN TO UP POSITION AS YOU WIND IT BUT IT DOES NOT WORK ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE “40″. THERE MAY BE SOME SMALL SCRATCHES OR CRACKS IN THE CRYSTAL THAT MAY NOT BE VISIBLE FROM MY PICTURES. THERE ARE ALSO SOME SMALL SCRATCHES AND SIGNS OF WEAR ON THE CASE AND FACE WHICH I HAVE TRIED TO DOCUMENT IN THE PICTURES. Raymond Rail Road pocket watch. This watch was made in 1894. It runs great and keeps very good time. This watch has a lovely original movement and is in a beautifully decorated gold filled Hunter’s case! Movement : The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The Rail Road grade movement is all original with 15 jewels, adjusted. Dial : The original double sunk dial is in very good condition, with just a few light hairlines. The hands are also original. Case : The lovely gold filled Hunter’s case is also in very good condition. The case is beautifully decorated and has the original paper label. It shows very little wear but has a dent on the edge. It has a good lift spring and the covers work like they should, although when closed the front lid has a slight gap. This is a beautiful pocket watch!
