Serial number is S28243. Towards the end of production. The movement is clean and the winding wheels are like new. No rust or scratches, has the narrow bar damaskeening pattern. Elinvar hairspring, raised gold jewel setting, Adj. The dial is the original Melamine Marked 23 Jewels. It is a nice dial but it has 3 minor hairlines. Hands are black and rust free. This watch is an 1892 model, made in 1902, and is all original. It runs great and keeps very good time. This watch has a really beautiful movement that is the highest grade made by Waltham! Movement : The watch is in very good running condition and it keeps very good time. The movement is all original. The movement has 23 ruby jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. It has gold jewel settings, 2 diamond end stones, a jeweled motor barrel, and gold balance weights. Dial : The original dial is in very good condition. Case : The original Keystone case is gold filled and in good condition, but has some brass on the bow and on the stem, and some spots on the rim. The case looks very nice and the covers screw on and off like they should. This is a very nice watch! This beautiful watch is ready to display or carry! 18 size 17 jewel open face lever-set Grade 938 pocketwatch. Scarce and beautifully finished high grade movement with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, mirror finish steelwork, and a terrific fancy nickel damaskeen. Watch is fronted by a double-sunk enamel dial with early style script signature and is housed in an attractive Wadsworth permanent quality gold-filled case with multicolor overlay on the rear. Movement serial number is 10573. Running and a beautiful movement with excellent color and luster. Dial has hairlines in its outer chapter, a small edge chip at the lever-set area, and some flaking to the inner rim of the outer chapter between 10 and 11 O’clock. Case is attractive with a good in hand look and feel but has some wear to brass on the pendent and also in thin strips around the sides. Bow is worn to brass over nearly all of its surface. 18 size 21 jewel hunting case lever-set Bunn Special pocketwatch. Rare hunting case version of this railroad watch with a total production of only 430 made according to the Meggers Illinois book. Watch is fronted by its correct double-sunk enamel Gothic numeral dial and is housed in a gold-filled Plymouth hunting case. Movement serial number is 1973841. Running after needing a small twist to get started. Nice looking movement with good color and luster and some average scattered surface marks. Dial faces up well but has hairlines scattered in the outer chapter and also has some chipping tight around the center hole underneath the hands. Case has even wear to the engraving, a ding on the left side of the frame, and spots of wear to brass on the pendent, crown, and bow. Front lid of case needs a small nudge at the start of its opening motion before the liftspring pushes it open the rest of the way.
