Pocket Watch Case

This is a Hamilton 992B in excellent condition. It is housed in a Hamilton flying eye case. I believe the case to be original to the watch but can not prove it with provenance. The case is in excellent condition with no wear through and only minor wear as expected for a vintage watch. The serial number of the movement is C68273 which places it at built in 1942. The movement was recently serviced by an expert watchmaker who specializes in Hamilton pocket watches. Winds easily and fully and starts running with just a few winds of the crown. I can not guaranty the accuracy of the movement but it has always and is still keeping perfect time. The only flaw is the dial has a hairline crack in the enamel at 11 o’clock is about 1 inch long but it is on the surface and the dial is 100% intact. Please see my picture and decide for yourself.
