Pocket Watch Case

For your consideration is an E. Howard Series X, J Size (12S) with 15 Jewels Pocket Watch. Watch was made between 1892 to 1899 and has a nice nickel movement. Total production of this Series by E. Howard was only 1,500. Watch is in working condition. The Dial has three small hairlines which can be seen in the pictures. Overall a very nice dial. The Umbrella Hands are nicely blued. The beveled crystal has normal scratches and small scuffs from daily use that do not interfere with reading the time. The Movement is a nice nickel with some scratches. The serial number is 500926. The watch is stem wind and stem set. The Open Face Hinged Case is marked Warranted Crescent 20 years. All three covers open right at 90 degrees. Overall the case doesn’t show much wear. There are what look like six pin pricks on the back cover which do not go through the case. They can be seen on the inside of the back cover. 18th Century Very Fancy 18K Gold Pear Pocket Watch Case Only 54 mm Diameter. This listing is for an 18th century 18k gold pear watch case. This very ornate case has an outer diameter of 54 mm not including the hinge and an inner diameter of 38 mm. And a depth of approximately 15 mm. The watch case has been tested and it is 18k gold (guaranteed). The case back is extremely fancy and well done. The figures are layered over another plate of gold giving a very three dimensional appearance. The figures are a classical scene of three people two men and a women in a forested setting. The case is tight with very light wear. The case weighs 25 grams. It will take a very specific size movement to fit this case but if you have that movement you will have a very good marriage indeed!
