We only sell 100% AUTHENTIC items. We are pleased to offer this rare and highly special Doubis Geneve 18K Solid Gold Hunter Case with REPOUSSE style hammered case in grape leaf/fruit form. This type of form watch made with a particular object in mind is highly ornamental but very rarely seen on the market. Watches with repousse cases are much rarer to come across than high relief or tri-color gold cases. The watch uses a Swiss cylinder movement with stem winding and lever setting. On the dustcover it is finely engraved with Dubois Geneve and Remontoir. Condition-wise the watch runs but we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity as we don’t know its service history. Cosmetically the beautiful repousse case is very clean and great with no visible dings or dents. The lift-spring is not very strong and the case is catching when the crown is pressed, but this is no defect and can be easily remedied by a watchmaker. Dial is minty with no defect. Return can be made if the item received significantly deviate from the lot description and must be made within 3 days after receiving item. As a watch collector for over 25 years I know Chopard is at the top of the food chain for high-end Swiss made watches. I personally own one Chopard wrist watch in 18k gold and it is a beauty.
