Fantastic and very well decorated 18k gold hunter case with chronometer / detent escapement of the Geneva watchmaker J. Vogt Morin from the period around 1878. Beautiful 18k gold hunter case, à goutte. 18k gold brand on all lids. Cover at the front with engraved date 1878 and monogram in a flower decorated cartridge. The lids are also giloched on the inside. Ample engraved and signed dust cover. The case is very well preserved. Beautiful Champleve metal dial with Roman numerals. Small second with Arabic numerals. Engraved between the numbers. Lush and highly decorative ornate centre part and outer edge. Exquisite movement made in best quality with Geneva stripes and chronometer escapement. Screwed gold ruby chatons. Movement with signature J. The clean movement is working properly. Overall, this watch is in very nice, fully functional state. Deckel der Vorderseite mit graviertem Datum 1878 und Monogramm in floral verzierter Kartusche. Die Deckel sind auch auf der Innenseite gilliochiert. Üppig gravierter und signierter Staubschutzdeckel. Drücker an der 4 zum stellen der Uhr. Das Gehäuse ist sehr gut erhalten. Prächtiges Champleve Metallzifferblatt mit römischen Ziffern. Kleiner Sekunde mit arabischen Ziffern. Zwischen den Ziffern floral graviert. Üppig und hochdekorativ verzierte Mitte und äußerer Rand. Vorzügliches Werk bester Qualität mit Genfer Streifen und Chronometerhemmung. Werk mit Signatur J.
