Elgin National Watch Co. Raymond railroad grade 183, model 2, class 1 pocket watch in excellent working condition. Serial number 7713004 dates this pocket watch to 1899. The size 18 full hunter case is absolutely beautiful. It is like looking at a piece of art. There are no initials or personal engravings on any of the covers. There are no visible dents, scratches or imperfections in any of the surfaces. All covers fit and function perfectly. The front cover pops open when the crown is depressed. The bow stands up in place when released. There is a steam locomotive engraving on front cover. A view of a scenic river valley with train bridge winding over the river with steamboats on the river, the detail and craftsmanship is incredible. This is a one of a kind combination railroad grade B. Raymond in a beautiful hand engraved size 18 hunter case. You will not find another preserved in this original condition. The railroad grade 17 jewel movement is clean. The balance wheel has a brisk rhythmic motion. Raymond winds, sets and runs it is keeping accurate time.
