High-grade Elgin 21 jewel adjusted five position BW Raymond railroad grade antique pocket watch movement only. Movement Is beautifully finished with Strait line Damaskeening a gold train with gold timing screws and jewel settings. A very attractive, and good running movement that seems to keep time but I have not checked it over a long period but will not set correctly. Dial is the original Elgin bold Arabic boxcar style railroad with the scarce Invar balance marking. Watch winds correctly, and is lever set but does not set.. Elgin Grade 292 Full Hunter Case Pocket Watch 7 Jewels C. Watch runs for about 10-15 seconds and then stops and starts running again once it’s moved. It looks like it might be missing a screw on the movement. Dial is in great condition and case is in decent shape. It might just need a service to get it running good.

Vintage Antique Elgin 14K GF Hunting Case 1921 Pocket Watch Runs ETC10302. Here is a Very nice Elgin 16 size 14K gold filled hunting case type Pocket Watch, serial #23365463. This is a model 6 grade 386 3 /4 plate 17 Ruby and Sapphire jewel stem set nickel movement. The watch is large (about 2 two inches across) and has 2 flip open covers to protect the watch while doing tasks such as hunting hence the term “hunting case watch”. The overall Condition is excellent with very moderate wear from being carried. The case has a basket weave design over a floral background engraved on the (2) protective covers. I see a small hairline in the watch dial between 1 and 2 thru 7 near the edge. It is common with these old watches and does not affect the performance of the watch. The mechanical (winding type) (103) year old watch winds, runs and keeps accurate time over the 24 hours I timed it.. Antique Elgin Gold Filled Hunting Case Pocket Watch C3987. Here is a nice-looking gold-filled pocket watch from 1904, serial #10593423. This watch movement is a 7 jewel 6s size watch movement in a beautiful 16-size gold-filled Victorian style hunting case. There is a liner inside the watchcase that allows different size movements to be used in this case. The watchcase is 46 millimeter or just over 1 3 /4 inches across the front of the watch. This is a 20-year gold filled hunting case that has 3 hinged openings with the stem position being at 3 o’clock. This watch shows lite use. All 3 openings are nice and tight which they should be for a watch that was carried but not opened much. The front dial cover does not close like it should so you will want to get that fixed and have the watch serviced. The mechanical (winding type) (120) year old watch winds continuously, tries to run for a little then stops. So, the watch does not run.
